Supplier and equipment selection

Before choosing a supplier we draw up a technical specification — without one, offers cannot honestly be compared.

When you need this

  • You have a task but no specification, and no clear idea who to approach.
  • Offers from different plants cannot be compared: different scopes, different wording.
  • You want a second, independent opinion on a supplier you have already picked.

How the work runs

  1. We work through the task: output, site conditions, material requirements, what the finished result needs to be.

  2. We build a list of manufacturers and request quotations.

  3. We normalise the offers to one scope of supply, so the comparison is honest.

  4. We agree the final option with you on price, lead time and technical fit.

Comparing quotations from different plants directly is a common mistake. One includes a tooling set and staff training, the next is a bare machine, and a gap that looks like a bargain on paper turns into the opposite once the equipment is standing in your shop.

So we fix the scope of supply in the specification first, and only then request pricing from several manufacturers on the same terms. That comparison shows exactly what one supplier is charging more for — and whether it is worth it.

What we check when choosing a supplier

Whether the proposed model actually matches the task — output, site conditions, what the finished result needs to be; the manufacturer's delivery experience into EAEU countries; which certificates and permits it is willing to provide. No answer to the last point is itself a signal worth acting on before the contract is signed, not after.
